Almost a year ago, on the 30th of October 2021, I gave a tech talk about building platforms that scale for millions of users in the #Engineerex 2021 event.

In this talk, I included a lot of my experience with scalability and performance, which extended since the days I worked in products for the telecom sector serving two of the largest telecom operators in Egypt.

The feedback about the session was phenomenal and generated a lot of buzz in the company Virtual Booth back then, and the team showed their enthusiasm as well about what we did.

I haven’t shared the video and the slides with the audience back then “my bad”, but here we are.

To get the most benefit from the tech talk, you need to research the topics more afterward, and try to apply and grasp some of the knowledge as much as possible.

There are also some questions at the end that need some thought and needs discussion.
